APARTMENT HOLD PROCESS A SECURITY DEPOSIT of $300 (with approved credit) and an APPLICATION FEE of $32 (per person), along with completion of pre-lease paperwork are required to hold an apartment. Your credit card will not be charged until a representative of the Burke Shire Commons leasing office has contacted you and confirmed your application. IMPORTANT PET INFORMATION If you have a dog or are planning to get a dog, please contact the leasing office directly at 703-425-2777 to confirm availability for one of our four designated dog buildings before applying online. There is a two pet maximum and a refundable $300 PET DEPOSIT required for each pet. There is also a $40 monthly PET FEE. Dogs must weigh no more than 35 pound combined, unless you are applying for a ground floor apartment. RESTRICTED BREEDS: Pit Bulls, Bull Terriers or American Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, German Sheperds, Dobermans, Chows, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Wolf Hybrids, and Huskies
